Tony Finau is not leaving the PGA Tour for the LIV Golf League, he introduced Monday on social media.
Finau, a six-time winner on the PGA Tour, wrote on Instagram that he can be returning to the PGA Tour for a tenth season in 2024. There had been current hypothesis that Finau would possibly bounce to the LIV Golf League, and he did not do a lot to shoot it down finally week’s Grant Thornton Invitational.
On Thursday, LIV Golf signed Spain’s Jon Rahm, the third-ranked participant on the earth, to what sources mentioned is a multiyear contract price greater than $300 million. LIV Golf League officers are recruiting different PGA Tour gamers to affix Rahm’s group, sources advised ESPN.
